From what I can tell the “naive sexuality” comes from labeling the picture Lolitas verses the pictures themselves. The images themselves without the heavily and sexually loaded “Lolitas” title are rather innocent, just girls goofing around. If the pieces had been called ” young french girls goofing around” we might not be talking about it right now.
